This school year, Debakey High made to the Open Grand Final Debates that took place on Saturday, 28th May 2018 at Auditorium, College of Islamic Studies in Education City. We won 2nd place and Mujtaba El Sheikh was awarded the best speaker of the day.
Our school was among the Top 3 schools in League awards. Our Senior girls team came second while the boys team took the third place.
We are also glad to inform you that below debaters from our school were among the Top 10 Speakers of Qatar Secondary Schools Debate League ( boys & girls)
