Note from the Director
Spring semester has begun! After reviewing our students’ MAP scores, the focus area is Reading Comprehension. This will be heavily implemented in all courses. To make this process more enjoyable, multiple reading and vocabulary competitions will take place throughout the semester. Please encourage your children to participate.

SAT Preparation
The SAT is a very important exam that is necessary for college admissions. This test should be taken in Grade 11. In preparation for the SAT, we hold practice exams at school.
We administer two College Board PSAT exams on campus. Grade 10 students have already taken the PSAT exam in October and should have received their results and answer booklets by now. For Grade 8 students who already pre-registered, the exam will take place on April 11, 2017 during school hours (as test booklets have been ordered, exam registration has been closed).
For Grade 9 students, Score Plus will administer a practice/diagnostic exam to further expose familiarity of the exam structure and timings. A sign-up list will be sent closer to the exam date, April 27, 2017.
Grade 11 students interested in taking the Princeton Review SAT Prep course should refer to ‘P-Memo 29’ for all relevant details.
At home practice is also possible through the Khan Academy: https://www.khanacademy.org/parent
We are always here to provide further insight if needed!
